 I hope you will share this information with your family and friends. We need to be open and honest about education funding in Mississippi so we can better focus on how to improve our schools for Mississippi's children. We need to be open and honest about education funding in Mississippi so we can better focus on how to improve our schools for Mississippi's children.

Encourage your legislator to remember that while K-12 education is Mississippi's top priority, it is not Mississippi's only priority.

If the Legislature does the right thing to properly fund education and address other budget issues, we may see the beginning of the end of the budget crisis that has gripped Mississippi state government since before I took office.
