All of us current, former, and retired military, at one or more points, in
our careers swore to "...preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of
the United States of America against all enemies both foreign and
domestic....". I invite you all to read this document, for understanding,
this Veteran's Day. Don't have a copy? Well many dictionaries have a copy
in their appendices, or do a Google on "us constitution" and you will be
able to print out a copy.
I have made this a ritual for many years and find it very rewarding to
reinforce the real reason I invested all those years. It takes me about an
hour...I usually find a clause or two to ponder and/reflect upon, plus, I am
a slow reader.
Give it a shot.
